Since 2002, Angels’ Attic has been a shining light in Brookhaven through its resale operation.  Operated by the women of the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, the Angels’ Attic Board and its employees celebrated its 17th anniversary on November 15, 2019.

Located at 130 N. Church Street, Angels’ Attic is open three days a week, Thursdays and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. until 3 p.m., and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. until 2 p.m.  Donations can be dropped off during store hours and Mondays and Tuesdays from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.  A tax deductible donation receipt is available upon request.  For more information, call 601-833-3761.

The store is operated under the direction of a six-member board and has volunteers who work as cashiers and as needed for day-to-day operations.  The shop also has three employees and is proud to participate in the Senior Community Service Employment Program in partnership with Copiah-Lincoln Community College which helps seniors in the area gain employment.

As a non-profit service organization, Angels’ Attic is devoted to providing low-cost clothing, toys, books, furniture, and household items to its customers.  All items for sale are donated by members of the community.  In addition, the Attic distributes money in the form of grants and gifts to other organizations in Brookhaven and Lincoln County.  Some of the beneficiaries include Hospice Ministries, Mission Mississippi, Berean Children’s Home, Socks for Heroes, the Prison Storybook Ministry, BARL, and the Fire-Pup fire safety program presented by the local fire department to area schools.  In recent years the Attic has seen an explosion in sales each weekend, which, in turn enables that the Board to increase the number of gifts and grants.

From the founders who dedicated hours to get the store going to the selfless volunteers who give time every month to its dedicated employees, Angels’ Attic is thankful to those who help make it successful.  The impact of this small resale shop would not be possible without the support of area businesses and loyal customers.

DONATIONS RECEIVED:  Monday-Tuesday 8am-12noon and during store hours. Please ask for your tax receipt. WE ALSO OFFER PICK-UP FOR SOME ITEMS.
